It’s the start of a new season and we’re all looking forward to getting back on court and some normality back in our lives.
As President for many years, I’ve never looked forward more to a new season.
We will hopefully have new floodlights in place on court three, as well as a new surface on court four in time for the summer months.
We also have six Gents teams and three Ladies teams playing in the West of Scotland league in 2022 which is a new record for the club. This is matched with a thriving coaching programme run by our coach Martin Sangster. It is going to be an exciting year ahead.
With that in mind, I am writing to ask for your help to get the Club ready for full use please. There is a club clean-up next Sunday (30 January) between 8.30am and 12 noon focusing on the clubhouse, surroundings and container. If you can spare even an hour to come along and get the facilities looking as good as possible, it would be much appreciated.
Once again thank you all for your support, particularly over the past few challenging years and I look forward to seeing you next Sunday.
Kind regards and remember, keep “Banging that Drum!”
